The project involves fitting out the new premises of a textile company that needed to relocate all its activities quickly into a single building. The aim was to organise a variety of work spaces — offices, sewing workshops, open space, reception area, showroom — using solutions that could be implemented rapidly while giving the place a clear identity for welcoming clients. The approach places furniture at the core of the project. By reinterpreting several pieces from the open-source wooden furniture repertoire Autoprogettazione by Enzo Mari, we develop a series of simple, robust, and reproducible elements that form a common framework for the entire project. The studio also provided detailed artistic direction through the sourcing of reused pieces of furniture.
